A Crazy Last Minute Plan

2012, Mar 21

unintentionally attended one of the most exclusive parties of the year, on a weeknight, not to mention having to pull off sneaking out of class early, undressing in the back seat of a car, wearing ugly working shoes with a borrowed dress, and putting on make-up in less than 2 mins with a bunch of people starring at me...

pretty crazy, but amazed i actually did all that after being a retiree for so long. still, had a blast attending the event, all thanks to HT (mastermind) who came up with everything.

ticket to the partay

just before we went in. with HT

with GG

polaroid of us.

they had girls goin round taking photos for guests as souvenirs.

cool bartender mixing up drinks for us.

super like! coconut and black label. smooth. but idk the name.

it's kinda hard to describe my experience at the event. it not helping that i didnt take many photos that night, but just imagine lots of waiters / waitresses waiting on you, serving a free flow of delicate chocolate truffles, signature cocktails, and black label through out the entire night. deco was fab, setup was fab, stage was fab, layout of events was fab, everything was so classy and stylo. only let down was the music, thus making the whole night lack something essential.

still, it was great. and i actually got to go. there must have people wanting in but failed to get passes. lol. i feel like the passes might just have been wasted on me as i didnt party hard enough. apologies for that :P

wow. i scrolled down my blog and noticed that i have not blogged about emo stuff in a long time.
well.... it doesn't mean that i'm not emo anymore...
who has a 100% happy life anyway?
there are bound to be unwanted things that you didn't see coming which hit you right in your face,
leaving you dumbfounded, scarred, and disappointed.

not blogging about emo stuffs anymore simply means that i subconsciously choose not to remember them anymore and let them be bygones.
it's not like i intentionally installed a filter to keep out all the bad and only allow the good to be published, misleading others into thinking that i otherwise lead a really happy and peaceful life.
somehow or rather, i just managed to let it all go.
and sooner or later, it doesn't bother me anymore.

as quoted by my friend, this might seem like me taking another step closer to adulthood.
this is good, isn't it?
being able to take control of my own emotions and sound less like a mad hag.
hmm, i am, i indeed am growing up :)

Eye Opener

wow! seriously wow.

my 1st time watching Bollywood movie in a cinema and I was so impressed. The "3 Idiots" was simply enjoyable. it started off by making you laugh, laugh and laugh. then touching scenes will come into the picture, then you'll cry. then some random joke will be pop out and you'll laugh non stop again. two thumbs up for it!

apart from Slumdog Millionaire, this is the only other hindi movie that i've watched and it's definitely adding up to my interest towards Bollywood (:

i happened to watch it because Ray's family highly recommended this movie. his mom was forever falling asleep in the cinema regardless of how terrific the movie was.
  • cloudy with a chance of meatballs - sleep.
  • ninja assassin - sleep.
  • bodyguards and assasins - sleep.
  • avatar - sleep
there wasn't a single movie that she managed to watch from start till end without falling asleep. at least every movie that i've watched with her la. haha... and jeng jeng jeng... she miraculously stayed awake throughout the 3 hours of the 3 idiots' showtime!!!

they happened to stumble upon this movie coincidentally too. it was more of like a random outing to Cap Square because Ed had free movie passes for Cap Square's TGV and they were like going to expire in February. the thing was that the place was flooded with hindi movies and there weren't many to choose from so they settled with the 3 Idiots.

get what i mean? all hindi movies. which one will u choose if u had already watched Avatar?

watched it with daryl, rach, ed and ray.
ps:// ed watched it 3 times and he cried like a baby :D

great lesson learnt from em! when ever you're in doubt or just simply scared, put your hand on your chest and say "Aal izz well!!!"
